Place threaded bobbin above spindle and push down. ensure groove on bobbin matches groove on spindle. I generally refill my bobbin every time I wind it since I don’t want to operate from thread way too normally.  Most devices usually do not fill the bobbin right to the perimeters of the edges of the bobbin.
